Kristopher and Saber had a sleepover last night. Seems Marcus had a birthday party sleepover with his friends at Brandon Bartz’ Friday night and Kristopher was not to be outdone so Saber came last night and they’ve had a great time together. I have to point out, though, that their taste in pajamas is uncannily alike, don’t you think? Looks like Kristopher slept on his hand last night. The stamp on his hand is now on his cheek also. It was an interesting night though. The septic pump died last night and we are waiting for the repairman to show up so we can get back to life as normal. Luckily, in a house full of boys, going potty outside is thought of as fun. I can’t say I’m as enthusiastic.

You ever have one of those days? Of course you have. If you are human you HAVE HAD one of those days.
The six year old had a bad day at school. Feels the teacher was unfair to him and he’s probably right. His heart is in the right place and he’s a good student. I imagine he was singled out and I plan to do something about it.
I have a job interview tomorrow and I’m not sure how prepared I am but I’m gonna give it my all.
The boys have done a lot of fighting this afternoon, egged on by the 18 year old wouldn’t you know. I really want to ring his neck some days.
Then the hubby stayed after work with the guys so dinner was held up until 7:45 tonight on a school night.
I think it’s time to go to bed and try again tomorrow. What do you think?

Boys And Their Toys

Daddy and the boys and Roy and Layton took the ATVs down to the sand pit and tore it up. They had so much fun. I wonder when they will stop talking about it. Really, I wonder when it will end. I’m glad they had a good time though. It’s the first time we’ve loaded up the ATVs and taken them anywhere. I just hope that they don’t start begging to do it all the time.
I have an interview at St. Francis Wednesday. I’m not really nervous though. More curious than anything. I also have a week of orientation in Wichita and then about three days in Topeka at the beginning of next month. I’ve never been away from daddy and the boys like that. It could be interesting how I do and how the family does.
Thursday Tyson has his first meeting as a delayed entry airman in the USAF. They have to meet down in Wichita for the day and bring a friend. I believe he is taking Brandon. We still have a lot to do for his HS graduation and it seems to be sneaking up on us. I’m ready for him to be done but not sure I’m ready for all the hassle.

I am a conservative FIRST and foremost so when John McCain wins a caucus I have to wonder where does a conservative go for representation? We used to go to the republicans. John McCain is no conservative. Huckabee is no conservative. Romney is conservative, mostly. Fred is definitely a conservative and our dearly departed Duncan Hunter was conservative. Who is voting in these caucuses? Certainly not conservatives.
WANTED: Conservative Republican candidate. Must be ready to lower taxes. Decrease the size of the federal government. Win the war by letting the troops do their jobs without PC standards. Kick out every illegal alien and fix the anchor baby law retroactive 20 years. Punish anyone who harbors an illegal or employs an illegal. Exonerate the border patrol agents from any wrong doing. Build the wall and fortify it with troops. Must be willing to stand up to presidents of other countries and put America first. They should want to turn the power back over to the states. Must believe that the people’s money belongs to them and they are the best judge of where it should be used. Must know and uphold the constitution as it was meant to be. They will appoint judges that will not legislate from the bench. Must realize that the separation of church and state was to keep the government out of church NOT the church out of government. Must push to get the US out of the UN. Must not care what other countries think as long as we are still the great country we once were.

Not A Good Time

Ok heading out on a trip is not a good time to diet and exercise so we’re on sabbatical. I do want everyone to go sign the petition to keep Chad and Shana together. Email it to your friends.
I’ve been doing a bit of ebay trying to find a way to stay home instead of going out to work. I heard the business in town that was an ebay drop point has closed due to too much work WOW. It’s a thought. I’m very much considering it.
We are heading to Ft Collins Colorado to see Jeff Dunham perform. My friend Tracy and my two youngest sons and I will be leaving Tuesday night to head to Denver. The performance is a matinee on Wednesday in Ft Collins. Looks like two late nights of traveling. I hope he’s as good in person as he is in his specials. The boys are too excited and we hope we might get a chance to meet him.

So many issues

Well, my youngest has a cold and fever so today was a wash. I’m thinking the tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy may come sooner than we planned.
My middle son’s friend is moving and he has been invited to a party Wednesday night by another friend to say goodbye. The problem I have with this is that the friend that is leaving has a mother I am furious with because she has lied on many occasions to us. Now I have to decide whether to blow off this going away party or not.
I was going to start walking today but that will have to wait until the 6 year old feels better and goes back to school. I’m also looking for another workout to mix it up and keep me from getting bored.
The two younger boys and I will be going to Ft Collins Colorado to see Jeff Dunham next Tuesday. Sounds like fun, we’ll see how it goes.
The house is slowly shaping up. There is one big project left and I hesitate to start it knowing the magnitude, the laundry room/storage room. What a mess. It does tend to be the heart of the house though and if it is out of order everything tends to fall apart. I would have never guessed this was such an important room.

Myspace Quotes at WishAFriend.com
The hubby and I talked Sunday night about my not wanting to continue at my present job. I thought it was all settled and turned in my resignation but last night I realized he still thought I was staying. Now what do I do? Sometimes it seems as if I can’t win. I was so happy he was with me on this and now I feel I need to do damage control. My eldest son got home last night from Kansas City. He is officially in the Air Force now as soon as he graduates. After he spent Christmas with his father in Washington and came home with no fewer than 2 traffic tickets I’m ready to wash my hands of him. He, obviously, won’t be driving on our insurance. He and dad were up until 1 am hashing it out last night and today he returned to his senior year to what is, hopefully, his last semester. This is his first semester at school without aide of his ADD medication. All I can do is cross my fingers and pray.I’m making a dent in the house and that makes me feel really good. My perfectionism is really a good thing in so many ways but it makes for a very difficult time when you try to get everything just so. I wish I could be happy with just nice instead of perfect. Things would go much faster. I’m afraid I’ll run out of steam before I complete the task.Well wish me luck, off to tackle clutter and dust bunnies.
